O & E – Adding L and V = LOVE!

We met this truly fun-loving couple in San Francisco over the weekend where they introduced us to a new park that overlooked the city. What a beautiful, scenic location! Not only was the view photogenic, but these two had a warmth about them that made us feel like we’d known them for awhile. We love couples who laugh and chat during our photo sessions- this first photo shows how much fun they must have together.

Did we mention they brought along 2 great dogs? We are definitely animal people so when we got to meet this over-sized-super-sweet doberman and chubby-friendly-tongue-hanging-out-of-mouth pit bull we were thrilled. We find it funny when people think these dogs are scary because they are supposedly the fighting breeds. These two canines were nothing but loving, hilarious little buddies.

This lively couple let their personalities shine during our photo session. They loved each other, cared about their pups, and definitely know how to have a good time no matter where they are or who they’re with!

We love your happiness. Thank you for sharing laughs and a great photo session with us!

Rasmussen Family – Rays of Sunshine

What more could you want from a family portrait session?

1. Cute baby, check. Nana delighted us with her sneaky grins, grabbing her toes, and especially her faux-hawk.

2. Loving parents, check. Rashelle and Tomo were toting around Nana and throwing or chasing Keito until his hearts content. Not only did we get great posed shots, but this allowed for some really fun candids as well!

3. Kissy lips, check! What a great older brother, kissing his sister – pretty much whenever we asked. Hope this lasts forever!

4. Rays of sunshine in the evening, check. What a happy baby, and what happy photographers we were with this smiling, sunny shot!

5. A family full of love, check. This is our favorite photo of the bunch! Thank you Rasmussens, we had such a great time capturing your family.

Adelmann Family – Growing Gardens

We met the Adelmann family in Andrea’s parents’ backyard. What a beautiful oasis they’ve made it! Although the temperatures started rising it still felt cool in the shade of the trees. Throughout our photo session we smelled the fresh cut grass and blooming roses.

We couldn’t resist taking some snapshots of the roses, and their relaxed family dog, Max, seen above sunning and napping in the middle of the lawn completely unbothered by our photo session.

We love the spring colors they wore! It’s almost as if they were matching with the bright colors of the garden. What fun we had laughing with this family. And what an amazing background of cultures and history they come from. We could have just chatted away the entire session with this interesting family, but alas we still shot some great happy photos!

Three generations of beautiful women, both inside and out. Thank you Adelmann (and extended) family! We hope your family, like your garden, continues to grow bright and colorful.

Goldsmith Sisters – Princesses

Almost every little girl we’ve met talks about loving princesses. These two were no different. They loved talking about Disney Land and visiting Arielle and Aurora. As a treat Maddie was even allowed to bring her princess dress to the photo shoot and we spent the last 10 minutes having fun taking these super girlie shots.

We know she’s dressed as Bell, but doesn’t she look just like Cinderella losing her shoe (or in Maddie’s case…shoes) in this next one?

Hanna is Maddie’s sweet as can be sister. She was very tolerant of us taking photos of her and we love the innocence of her cute face.

The sisters had a lot of good times together picking flowers, running, looking for fish and playing Ring-Around-The-Rosie. Thank you girls! (or should we say Princesses?)
