Maggie & Derek | Discovery Park Engagement

They’d definitely made eye contact. They even had mutual friends and bumped into each other often enough on campus, but it wasn’t until their Junior year that the romance bloomed and they actually started dating. Since then it’s been a whirlwind of dates, getting to know one another, graduating, finding jobs, deciding to stay in Seattle, picking out a ring and popping the question!

Congrats you two! This is such an exciting time in your lives together. ~Erik & Marissa

Mercer Island Newborn Photographer

This sweet family of three welcomed baby Jack this month and became a family of 4! Big sister Isla is super excited, loves babies, and already is helping out getting things for mama and holding the baby. Amanda & John (mom and dad) have created such a warm, stylish home, with the perfect setting for an in-home newborn session (we may be stealing some of their decor ideas). Seeing all this love warms our hearts.

Congratulations Crowley Family! We are so happy for you all. Jack is such a little stud muffin and the chillest guy. Thanks for letting me document his sweetness! ~Marissa

Magnuson Park Family Photographer

This sweet family is raising quite a strong little guy! Before turning one he’s already walking around and had just started the day before our session, which meant we got to catch him in the act on camera! What a fun milestone to document. He was quite proud of himself too!

Thank you Valdez Family, for being silly, hanging in the heat and your encouragement while Hudson learned to walk on camera! ~Marissa

Rica & Joe | Seattle Aquarium Wedding

CiccarelliPhotography_2508

She was a little nervous. Not to be marrying the man of her dreams, but to get the day started, walk down the aisle and see everything they had been working so hard to plan come together. The marrying part was the easy bit. She was marrying the man she was head over heals in love with. And he couldn’t agree more. When they saw each other for the first time that afternoon there were sparkles in their eyes and the biggest grins upon their faces. They both seemed to relax into one another, this was the easy bit.

Walking down the aisle ended up being less nerve wracking than she imagined, since she kept her eyes on him and he locked his with her. Their ceremony was sprinkled with laughter and ended with the most romantic dip and second-first kiss. Saying yes was the easy bit, they belonged together. The rest of the night exploded into fun with games, unique speeches, an epic garter retrieval and a night Rica & Joe will never forget.

Congratulations Rica & Joe! You two are some of the kindest individuals we’ve ever met. We know your lives together will be full of happiness. Thanks for allowing us a peek into your love! ~Erik & Marissa

Summer Adventure at Seabrook | The Ciccarellis

As the summer comes to an end we can’t help but to think how thankful we are to be a part of all the life events that took place! In between it all we were able to escape the city on a ferry for a day, hang at our favorite splash parks, eat dripping popsicles on the porch, and spend as much time outdoors with the boys as possible.

One week we even had a getaway all the way to Seabrook (and the boys did so well in the car!). It only took us a month to finally look through our vacation photos! Haha, such is busy season in our household. A new resolution for us is going to be to have as quick of a turnaround time on our own family photos as we do for our clients.

Here are a few pics of our little break in the season escaping the city, unplugging, and enjoying some family time. We flew kites, made sand castles with motes and forests, rode beach bikes, sampled different ice cream flavors, collected crabs, and had big family meals. Basically our ideal family vacation! Now we’re just trying to figure out a way we can live there all summer…
