Our Maternity Session

This was one of those big life moments we just knew we wanted captured. In an instant it will fly by (seriously it seems like we just found out we were pregnant), and then everything will be different. Our family of 2 will be a family of 3!

Huge thanks go out to Barrie Anne Photography for the beautiful shots and Kendra from KLS Makeup Artistry for the glow! We will cherish these forever. ~Erik & Marissa

Candice & Tom | Sand Point Country Club Wedding

2015-10-06_008

Tom still claims that it was pure luck Candice agreed to their first date, and then a second…

Candice, on the other hand, gushes over their sweet engagement, when Tom (who hand-makes her cards regularly) created a whole booklet of photos of the two of them. Although he claims he was still shocked she said yes, we think he had it in the bag with that level of thoughtfulness!

Their wedding day was filled with the same level of adoration with greens to match Candice’s favorite color and emerald engagement ring to friends and family pitching in on invitations, the cake and officiating (Alan claims this is his one and only time officiating since he just couldn’t say no to his sister).

The sweetest father-daughter dance rounded out this perfect day, with both Candice and her dad dancing alongside Tom and his daughter.
We wish you two a lifetime of love, whether it be by luck or through a whole lot of thoughtfulness. ~Erik & Marissa

Candice’s emerald engagement ring was inspired by her mother’s, which she had sewn into her dress in remembrance.

Lauren & Ryan | Pioneer Square Engagement

When your friend says he wants to set you up with a girl named Lauren at Seafair and you meet a girl named Lauren on a boat you think, that must be her! It would be confusing when you find out that Lauren actually has a boyfriend. Fast forward a few hours to dinner that evening when Ryan is introduced to another Lauren, (the right one this time!) the one he’s supposed to meet. The two hit it off immediately, but she was disappointed to learn he actually lived in Colorado.

The thing about love is…it’s hard to ignore. He kept coming home to visit her and she kept texting him until they were officially dating long distance. When he decided to move home to Seattle it was official, they were saving for a house and an engagement was on the horizon! (Actually it was on a beautiful horizon in Hawaii.)

So happy to finally meet you two and spend time walking around the city. Your wedding is going to be amazing! ~Erik & Marissa

Angela & Ricky | Seattle Waterfront Engagement

They call themselves two kids at heart, which is why they’re perfect for each other! The moment they met for coffee at Starbucks there was something about the other, a spark, that made this date feel different.

Ricky likes to say they met at Starbucks, but Angela confirmed that their modern romance began like many others these days, through an online dating site. These two traditionalists both say they were shocked to find their soul mate online!

You two had us laughing and smiling this whole session, cannot wait for more fun with the wedding! ~Erik & Marissa

Alicia & Jon | Trinity Tree Farm Wedding

2015-09-25_011

When you’re marrying your best friend there’s not a thing you have to worry about on your wedding day. Jon smiled to see the watch he had been eyeing gifted to him by his soon to be wife and Alicia held back tears (as best she could) getting ready to see her almost husband. Those tears flowed for their first look, but luckily Alicia is such a beauty, not one ounce of lost makeup could have dimmed her radiance on their wedding day.

Walking through the evergreens at Trinity Tree Farm, Alicia and Jon were already talking about their yearly tradition of coming to cut down their tree for the holidays and how special it will be to visit the place where they said “I do.” After a giant, romantic dip for their first kiss and laughing in full celebration down the aisle we know this clearing among the trees will be one to remember.
