Stefanie & Kyle | 1927 Events Wedding

They’d had the most romantic first date, a coffee meet-up ended with an upgrade to dinner at Six Seven Restaurant in downtown Seattle. An “I love you” followed shortly after and Stefanie & Kyle were inseparable.

As the holidays hit over a year later Kyle decided it was time to make Stefanie his partner forever. Right before Christmas he sweetly popped the question, in their own home, right in front of the cackling fireplace. The romantic gesture took Stefanie by surprise, but she was not hesitant in her reply of yes!

A little gold, DIY decor, and a boatload of happiness filled their wedding day with special moments. Thank you Stefanie & Kyle, for running through the rain and letting your love outshine Seattle’s unpredictable weather. ~Erik & Marissa

Clara & Rob | University of Washington Club Wedding

2015-11-09_017

It’s the little things that make a wedding day like Clara & Rob’s so memorable. The home-made cookies welcoming guests at the hotel and the s’mores escort cards were some of their sweeter touches. While the traditional signing of the Ketubah and meeting Rob under the Huppah with both her parents incorporated Clara & Rob’s families and faith.

He made her laugh, they hugged several times throughout the ceremony in excitement (their officiant and friend said she’d allow it), and everyone cheered when they stomped on glass then kissed for the first time as husband and wife. The happiness that engulfed them as they walked back down the aisle, officially married was contagious…adorable Clara couldn’t stop smiling and laughing!

Congrats Clara & Rob, we loved capturing all the little things that made your wedding day…yours. ~Erik & Marissa

Maya & Matt | Discovery Park Engagement

Maya was making the trek back to Seattle, her hometown. She wasn’t expecting to meet someone right away, but Matt had heard about her from a friend and was determined they should meet. After trying to get a few friends to set them up he finally managed to meet Maya for dinner with some mutual friends. Sparks flew (like he knew they would) and he convinced her to go on their first date a few days later. She was hooked! They’ve been together ever since and are now planning their July wedding.

Thanks for being such amazingly flexible people Maya & Matt! Your rainy, windy, sunny (basically every weather possible) session turned out so well because of your love and fun spirits. Cannot wait for the big day! ~Erik & Marissa

Michelle & Lindsye | Hidden Meadows Wedding

2015-10-26_016

When you meet a bride like Michelle, who has been dreaming about her wedding day since she was a little girl, you know it’s going to be a special day. She envisioned a rustic look and found it at Hidden Meadows in Snohomish, fully equipped with a sprawling landscape, train tracks, and romantic chandeliers.

Lacing up in her wedding dress with almost all of the 18 wedding party present was just the type of bubbling, happy energy that continued throughout her and Lindsye’s wedding day. A little rain and some wind couldn’t even stop these two from laughing (and dancing) down the aisle (oh there were also quite a few tears) where they were announced officially married! The dancing continued as this group entered the reception and kept the celebrating going strong as dusk turned into night.

Thank you Michelle & Lindsye! We absolutely loved all the emotions of your day and hope you cherish those memories forever. ~Erik & Marissa

When you have 18 people in your wedding party getting on the dress is a group affair!
