There was a buzz of excitement in the air. Today was the day they’d been waiting for, the day to celebrate their love and to get married! Music was playing and the rental house was packed with people staying the weekend or just enjoying the party atmosphere, anticipating the fun day ahead with bride Kensi. At the Manor house the guys were playing games, telling jokes and getting ready, while vendors rushed around getting everything prepped for the celebration.
A secret garden was the perfect spot for Kensi and Pat to have their first look, getting all the pre-wedding jitters out, and relaxing into each other’s company. Their giant wedding party met us in the woods for some hilarious fun, lots of laughter, tons of jokes, and some pictures in between. This couple sure knows how to surround themselves with those they love.
As the ceremony started, tears flowed, hands shook, smiles were shared, and personal vows read (Pat even laminated his!). It was quite literally the perfect ceremony to make promises and share their love for one another. They flew down the aisle all smiles, petals flying around them, celebrating with another kiss, and were whisked off to take photos in front of the old movie theater that had been specially done-up with their names and wedding date.
Cheers rang out as they joined their family and friends for cocktails and again for their grand entrance into the transformed tent with sweet floral touches and the smell of delicious food. The night was just getting started as the band warmed up to Kensi & Pat’s first dance song before the most epic dance party. There wasn’t a single non-sweating body on the packed dance floor swaying to the music as song after song was danced and sung to.
Congratulations Kensi & Pat! What a day. We’re still reminiscing over all the fabulous moments and pure excitement that made up your wedding day. Thank you for letting us join in on all the fun! ~Erik & Marissa
