Maya & Laura | Lakedale Resort Wedding

CiccarelliPhotography_1352

The point was set with chairs along the water, an arch was built from logs collected by family in the forest, and the sun was shining. Maya & Laura spent the morning together preparing for the day in the tiny town of Friday Harbor, getting dolled up and then returning to their separate log cabins at Lakedale Resort to dress. Family and friends were bustling about helping one another with hair and makeup as Maya walked the short distance between cabins to meet Laura for the most romantic first look. They were whisked away by golf cart to the ceremony where they beamed in front of their loved ones, giggling and confidant in their love for each other. All the nerves, worry, and butterflies evaporated when the two had their first kiss and walked back up the aisle (and after ceremony kiss of course) because they realized, this, right now, was the reason for the day. All the planning and travel to an island in the sound, to a little oasis among the trees, was for them to proclaim their love for each other, become wives, and start the rest of their lives together as a team. This, was their reason for today, and it was all love.

We could literally go on and on about this day, the lovingly planned details and how each bride is so special for her caring, loving nature, but for the sake of not losing our audience we will end with…

Maya & Laura, you are not only special to us because we know you, but because we got to witness that transformation in you during your ceremony and we loved every second of it! Congratulations on such a wonderful day, one of many awesome days together (we are certain of that), that you two will cherish for the rest of your days. Let’s do it all again shall we? ~Erik & Marissa

Bobov Family |Magnuson Park Maternity

We’ve watched Ivan grow, and grow, and grow. In fact his first photo session with us was when he and Bryce were so little that Erik was able to hold them both, one in each arm! Now as a big two-year old toddler he is a big brother (officially!) and we cannot wait to see him grow into this new, very important role.

Bobovs, so glad we got to catch you all one more time as a family of three! Desirae, you sure make one glowing mama, even with just a few days left (unbeknown to us all!). ~Erik & Marissa

Molly & Taylor | Semiahmoo Wedding

CiccarelliPhotography_1322

They are meant to be together. That was the sentiment all day long at Molly & Taylor’s wedding. Speeches, the bridesmaids, and close family members all gushed about how these two were the perfect match and how each of them so lovingly embraced the other’s friends and belonged in the other’s family already.

Their first meet-up was summer camp in 7th grade. Adorable or what? They began dating after college and the most romantic proposal took place in Thailand, much to Molly’s complete surprise!

On their wedding day it was no surprise to Molly that Taylor shed a few tears. They were both showered in love and special Jewish traditions as this day of celebration unfolded. It all ended with the entire guest list on the dance floor, having a blast, just as Molly & Taylor had dreamed of.

Molly & Taylor you two really do make the perfect couple. We wish you a lifetime of more dancing, lots of travel, and unforgettable moments together. ~Erik & Marissa

Julia & Alain | St. James & Stimson Green Mansion Wedding

She first noticed him in English class at UW because he was cute AND smart, the perfect combo. It was a super small group of students and the two began walking together from class. Slowly they began getting to know one another, spending time outside of their English class even. Julia claims she made the first move, but regardless of who started it, there is no doubt these two were meant to be together.

Their friends and family showered them with words of praise about the strength of their relationship and how Alain & Julia already seemed like an old married couple, in the best way possible. The toasts were not only full of love for these two, but littered with funny stories that had the entire mansion full of guests laughing out loud. We can always tell when a couple is genuinely wonderful by the people they surround themselves with and these two were non-stopped loved on and congratulated by sweet people all night long.

Congrats Julia & Alain, we loved getting to know you two and spend this day documenting your story! ~Erik & Marissa

Starks Family | Carkeek Park

Here’s the most awesome thing about our job…we get to stay in touch with our people for years to come! We’ve seen puppies brought home, babies born, homes purchased, anniversaries, and kids grow year after year.

We first met Will & Sara many years ago when they were newly engaged. As huge Husky fans we met on the waterfront with a view of the stadium to capture some candids before documenting their wedding the next year. Seeing their pup for the first time during a maternity session as they were excitedly awaiting the newest addition to their family was super cute. And now Henry, what can we say. Have you seen a more smiley, cute 6 month old? What a doll and so loved by his parents. He hardly stopped smiling the entire shoot, which reminded us of how smiley Sara & Will were during their first session with us all those years ago. Henry definitely inherited his happy demeanor from mom and dad!

Will & Sara, thanks for letting us document yet another big moment of your lives. Henry is so darn happy and you all make the sweetest family unit. Honored to be a part of it all. ~Erik & Marissa
