Steve & Monica – Baby Wiggles Maternity | Magnuson Park

A crisp sunny morning brought us to Magnuson Park to meet Steve & Monica, who are expecting their first child in the next month. And what a lucky baby (“wiggles” is her current name) she is, already surrounded by so much love and care. Monica brings a sense of calm and warmth to this growing family, while Steve is full of laughter and joy for his wife and their little wiggles. Monica glows with a confidence and clarity that must come with the end of pregnancy. We felt so happy to be around this lovely couple and couldn’t be happier with their fall colored maternity session. We wish you the best with these last few weeks and are looking forward to welcoming your little girl into her new world soon! We know it will be filled with love.

Congratulations Steve & Monica! Cannot wait to meet your little wiggles.

Lisa Henry - I love the one with the park bench! great job!

Jason Bradley-Krauss - The background on these shots is really nice. Like how it fades back and lets your subject really shine.

Marissa Ciccarelli - Thanks! We love this park, maybe our new favorite for pictures- lovely backgrounds. Thanks to Steve & Monica who suggested it!

Fun Day – The Ciccarellis | Oktoberfest, Leavenworth

What could be more fun than eating spicy brats and salty pretzels while people watching into the crowds of happy people merrily dancing and drinking in celebration? In short, we loved our visit to Leavenworth for their annual Oktoberfest. The reason for our visit was to shoot a session for one of our couples who met in Germany (he’s German) while she was abroad. They thought it would be special to have some fun pictures taken around town and we couldn’t have agreed more. This was the excuse we’d been waiting for to visit this quaint town in the mountains so off we went!

Pastries in a bakery…yum! These smelled so wonderful that we were literally drawn in out of the cold to push our noses up to the glass cases and drool over the delicious goodies.

The place we ate had about 15 different kinds of mustards! Being that we couldn’t choose we squirted on at least 8 of them.

Couldn’t resist this gorgeous photo op with all the fall colors.

Bloopers – Ciccarelli Photography | Seattle

When we made our website video back in August we certainly were novices and had many “oops!” moments. For fun we put them together and laughed at ourselves, a lot. We figured you all might get a laugh out of these bloopers as well!

Here’s to not being afraid to laugh at yourself. Have a happy day.

Lisa Henry - hahahahahahahahaha

Morton Family – Smiles & Tongues | Old Dublin

We happened to be in the Midwest for a wedding when we met up with the Morton family. We had scheduled this family session way in advance, but were surprised with Hurricane Sandy. We were fortunate to not lose power or have any flooding, but it was starting to rain and was incredibly windy by the time we met up with the Mortons for pictures. To our amazement this family was so incredibly cool about it, they didn’t even flinch. We moved the location from a park (which would have been in the middle of the elements) to Old Dublin, with it’s stoops, old buildings, and a bit of cover from the wind and sprinkles. Cora jumped into the spotlight for pictures while Athan took a bit longer to warm up to us. When he did though we couldn’t stop laughing as he entertained us with sticking out his tongue and making jokes. This family is what you imagine a family should have: love, warmth, and the most easy-going happy attitudes. It was such a pleasure being around them!

Happy Halloween! – The Ciccarellis

Happy Halloween! We love this holiday because it’s just fun. Usually we come up with outfits at the last minute, but every once in awhile they are well-thought out in advance thanks to friends. This year some friends decided to raid Erica’s old closet full of ice skating uniforms from her days as a professional back in high school. These early 90’s outfits were amazingly constructed by her mother. There were sparkly crystals, soft velvet, and outrageous patterns, not to mention lace and see-thru gauzy fabric. Yes, most people thought we were gymnasts from the recent summer olympics, but we had a great time anyway! Although we thought it would be great for Erik to join in and wear a uniform based on the movie Blades of Glory with Will Ferrell we decided it would take more than 24 hours and expertise sewing skills which neither of us possess. This meant he got to be our coach! We think he liked bossing us around.

We had to do individuals, it was too fun!

Colleen’s husband, Evan didn’t really match our outfits, but we thought it was such a funny costume we had to include it!

Happy Halloween!
